Global venture capital funding accelerated in Q3 2025, reaching US$97 billion, up 38 % year-on-year, driven by large late-stage deals, according to Crunchbase data. Late-stage rounds totalled US$58 billion, up over 66 % YoY, while early-stage funding across 1,700 companies hit US$30 billion. AI-related ventures captured most of the headline activity, followed by biotech and quantum firms. 

Investors said the scale of capital flowing into AI platforms and enterprise infrastructure is reshaping ecosystem dynamics, while cautioning on valuations and exit opportunities.
