Indian venture and private-equity funding rose to approximately **$1.83 billion** in October 2025, up 60.5% from $1.14 billion in September and up 63.4% year-on-year from $1.12 billion in October 2024. Deal count remained flat at around 100 transactions, signalling higher average ticket sizes and increased investor conviction in late-stage rounds. 

Analysts say the uptick reflects improved macro stability, interest from global investors and scaling opportunities in SaaS, fintech and AI-driven ventures. Despite gains, funds caution over valuations and expect deal volumes to moderate in coming months.
