Punjab National Bank Gains as Domestic Deposits and Advances Rise in Q3 FY26
PNB’s domestic deposits and advances grew strongly in Q3 FY26, lifting shares as credit demand and deposit mobilisation improved.
Punjab National Bank shares rose after the lender reported an 8.32% year-on-year increase in domestic deposits to ₹15,97,487 crore as of December 31, 2025, compared with the previous year. The bank’s advances grew more than 10% YoY, while global deposits and global advances also posted robust growth, contributing to an improved credit-deposit ratio. The growth reflects stronger credit demand and stable deposit mobilisation across the public sector banking segment, bolstering investor confidence in PNB’s balance sheet metrics and business momentum.
